Texas agency gets grant for new ambulance

The $300,000 grant will help buy a new ambulance to replace one of the older vehicles

MARFA, Texas — The City of Marfa is getting a brand new ambulance.

The Big Bend Regional Hospital District approved a $300,000 grant to the City of Marfa to help get the new ambulance on the road.

Officials say some of the equipment in the current ambulance is up to 15 years old and has more than 80,000 miles on it due to the amount of driving they have to do.
