PLEASANTON, Calif. — In honor of Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness month, in October, the PulsePoint Foundation will be holding a contest to encourage AED location identification and registration so these life-saving devices – once approved by public safety – can be disclosed to bystanders and 911 dispatchers during a cardiac emergency. You can register AEDs in your community through the PulsePoint AED app or online at AED.new , and they will be added to the free and globally accessible PulsePoint AED Registry, which currently includes more than 115,000 registered AEDs.
