Mich. EMS agency receives $23K grant

The funds will be used to replace outdated cardiac monitoring equipment

CROSWELL, Mich. — The U.S. Department of Home Security has awarded Croswell EMS $23,777 in grant money for operations and safety costs.

The Assistance to Firefighters Grant will be used to replace outdated cardiac monitoring equipment, according to a statement from Congresswoman Candice Miller.

"This grant, provided by the Department of Homeland Security to aid operations and safety will help Croswell's first responders continue to provide lifesaving services to local residents," Miller said in the statement.
