Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety

Description: 

FIRE DEPARTMENTS: Per NHTSA, as long as the proposal is traffic safety related it will be evaluated and reviewed for perspective funding by both GOHS and NHTSA. Unfortunetly, there is no established list of allowable projects, and each proposal will be evaluated on a case by case basis.

This year, FY 2011 proposals must be submitted in two forms to GOHS by 5:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2010:

The Arizona Governor's Office of Highway Safety (“GOHS”) is requesting submission of proposals relating to highway safety issues from state, county, municipal, university, tribal, and non-profit agencies for the 2011 Federal Fiscal Year (“FY”) which commences on October 1, 2010 and ends on September 30, 2011.

1. Proposals must be typed and submitted to GOHS either via mail or hand delivered.

2. Proposals must be emailed in Microsoft Word to grants@azgohs.gov.

Please note that proposals cannot be submitted through the GOHS website and proposals must be submitted in hard copy and via email to be considered for funding.
