Indiana Burn and Prevention Grants

Deadlines:

First working day of March, June, September and Decemeber.

Overview:

Accidents are the leading cause of burns. Over the years, donors provided these restricted funds to promote burn prevention education and to help educate health care professionals and first responders to emergency situations to treat severe burns with best care practices available. Grants typically range in size from $500 to $5,000. All grants will be made to non-profit agencies, not individuals.

The Foundation will consider requests for program, program-related equipment, staff continuing education, technical assistance and small capital grants. The Foundation will commit support on an annual basis only. Additional funding will be contingent upon program performance. Grant applications will not be accepted elimination of deficits, support of political activities, individuals, or projects all ready completed.

Eligibility:

Applicants should have a demonstrated history of serving poor and powerless populations residing in Allen County. Applicants should be not-for-profit entities classified as 501 (c) (3) bu the Internal Revenue Service. Some government agencies involved in related service areas my be eligible for support.
